PATRICK BOWMANM.S., LPC-S, BCPCC
Patrick is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor, and Board-Certified Professional Christian Counselor. He offers individual and couples counseling, as well as spiritual guidance. He has been Instructor of Psychology at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette for over 30 years. Patrick received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Xavier University, a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Southwest Louisiana, and completed graduate course work in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Cornell University. He is a graduate of Harding University School of Biblical Studies and completed additional graduate courses at Harding University Graduate School of Religion.
Patrick has worked at several inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities, completed 13 years of ministerial service, 14 years of part-time pastoral addictions work at Acadiana Recovery Center and 9 years of individual and couples counseling at Bienvenu Counseling Services. He has served in the capacity of group facilitator and outpatient counselor at the Acadiana Family Tree Information Education & Counseling Services since 2015. He is now pleased to be a part of the professional team and family of counselors at The Kitchen Table Counseling & Life Coaching Services.
Patrick and his wife Priscilla have been married 41 years and have 3 adult children, and 7 grandchildren. He enjoys getting to know people and hearing their life stories. He brings to the table compassion, respect, and unconditional positive regard for each individual’s unique experience. Patrick’s heart desire and goal is to help each person become whole and complete in this life and prepared for eternal life! He loves deep moments of worship, physical fitness and special times with his wife and family.
