Parenting the Teen & Young Adult
As our children grow into teenagers and young adults, parenting often becomes more difficult. It can be hard to connect, communicate, and set boundaries with them. We can feel disconnected from their world, on the outside, even, at times, their enemy, who doesn’t speak the same language anymore. This can feel hopeless, scary, frustrating and as if we are failing as parents.
In my career, I have worked with countless families to figure out where the gaps in communication and connection occur during these years. Many of my teens and young adults ask me, “Can you tell my parents?”
Yes I can! This course is for you, Mom and Dad, to hear what your teens want you to know and understand about them!
This one day workshop offers information, strategies, and tools to help you navigate these different years. You are not in this alone. Join me on the journey to understand your teen/young adult, and work toward the relationship you would like to have.
It’s time to take action, stand up for yourself and your teen, learn new ways to communicate and raise responsible adults that will love, honor, and respect you.
