LINDY LEBLANC, MS, LPC

Lindy earned her Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2017. She is board licensed through the state of Louisiana as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Having worked at both inpatient and outpatient facilities with a very diverse population of children, adolescents, adults, couples, groups, and families, Lindy found her passion in her extensive work of therapy for addiction. Understanding that active addiction takes a mental toll on both the addict and their families, not by choice but by disease, Lindy continues to strive to help clients understand the importance of recovery as a way to find their true self again through the recovery process, as well as, working to mend conflict due to any addiction history within the family dynamic. Speaking from more than just a professional experience, Lindy's personal experience helps her to understand her client's trauma and dig deeper past the initial pain to the wounds that drive the pain.  It's significant in any person's growth to be able to decipher through the pain to never have to live through it again, or at least never let it control you. It’s time to take back YOUR life, as it is yours and yours alone! She believes that we are all experts of our own lives.  Lindy brings to the table her passion to empower people to live full, free lives.  

Lindy is the proud wife of Marine Veteran, Tommy, since 2018. Together, they have a beautiful blended family with 4 children- 1 is theirs, 2 are hers, 3 are his, totaling 4 altogether- making for a challenging yet beautiful His, Hers, and Ours experience. Well, 5 kids, if you count their dog Max. Through their marriage, Lindy has witnessed the full aspect of her ongoing belief that anybody and everybody’s faith can be strong enough to make a change and master a difference in themselves. Lindy has witnessed firsthand through their journey together that God’s work is real and He has a plan for each and every one of us.  In her free time, Lindy is a fan of binge watching shows on Netflix, bow hunting with Tommy, and spending as much down time as she can with him and their flock of kids. She loves the little things like baby smells, crushed ice, and sipping coffee with the sunrise before the kids wake up. Lindy’s favorite quote is by Christian apologetic writer, C.S. Lewis- “There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.”
