ABOUT MELISSA

Melissa D’Aunoy received her Master’s Degree in Interpersonal Communications from the University of Louisiana in 2001. As a Life Coach and Inner Healing Group facilitator, she works with women to help them experience their identity in Christ. She has lead many groups over the years and is an anointed healer/teacher. She was trained by Dr. Terry Wardle of Ashland Theological Seminary and Cheryl Evans, LPC, LMFT in Formational Prayer, a Christ-centered experiential group process which helps women identify and fulfill their core needs through faith in Christ. She has worked with victims of sexual abuse and developed a class that takes women on a year-long journey through Dan Allender’s book, Wounded Heart, to reclaim their identity as sexually whole beings. Out of her own broken feminine image she fashioned the Made In His Image class which invites women to reshape their feminine image and take their beauty back. Additionally, she is an expert in assisting women in establishing healthy boundaries, recently producing a 5-week DVD/workbook led group or individual curriculum called Healthy Boundaries: Discovering the Stepping Stones to Loving Yourself and Others.

Melissa focuses her energy helping women discover their identity in God and heal emotionally. She is passionate about empowering and equipping women to walk in freedom with God, to see women’s hearts restored and to bring healing to their body and souls so that their spirits are free to be the soldiers God created them to be! As a mother of 5 amazing children, 1 boy and 4 girls, she purposes to find her own healing and freedom as a legacy for them! She is a home school mom to her 3 youngest daughters and loves coffee at her kitchen table with friends the best!

PULL UP A CHAIR

Melissa loves simple things like ladybugs, daisies and chalkboards. She is inspired by the first smell of rain as it rolls in, the impossibility of the honeybee’s flight, and words that surround her at all times. She invites you, as she has so many others, to pull up a chair at her kitchen table and enjoy some of the crumbs God has dropped on her plate. Bon appetite!!
